COST OF CARE
Cost of care is one of the ways that veterinary medicine differs from human medicine. Specifically, the human health care models allows for insurance and government programs to pay for health care for all people. Unfortunately, veterinary healthcare does not have such a model, so veterinary hospitals have to rely on a fee for service model to maintain their business.
Veterinary Specialists of the Valley, Inc. (“VSV”) prides itself on offering state of the art veterinary medical care to your special pet. To accomplish this, VSV has made a significant investment in highly specialized equipment, such as Ultrasound, Blood Analyzers, Endoscopy & Arthroscopy Systems, CT Scanners, Digital Xray, Anesthetic Monitoring Equipment and more! We stock expensive emergency and critical care drugs to ensure that we can offer our patients the most cutting edge veterinary care available. Our facility is maintained to the highest standards of sterility and maintained to exacting standards.
DEPOSITS
In order to ensure that we can continue to offer cutting edge services to our community, VSV requires payment in full for all services performed. A deposit of 75% of all estimated fees and charges is required prior to the commencement of treatment.
A VSV doctor will provide you with a detailed estimate of the expected fees and charges and obtain your consent prior to commencement of treatment. We will endeavor to update you regularly on your pet’s bill, so that you are kept fully informed at all times of the cost of care.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
VSV accepts all major credit cards and personal checks authorized through CrossCheck®. VSV also accepts Care Credit® financing. CareCredit is essentially a medical line of credit, accepted not only by veterinarians, but also by dentists and physicians.
